Support to “Asufu Christian Institute's (ACI) College of Arts & College of Science”, Mao, Manipur

Asufu Christian Institute

ACI was established in 2010 to impart quality education to the tribal youth of Manipur who has been lagging behind, academically. ACI college has been one of the collaborating institute for educational development at Punanamei (Mao), Manipur. For pursuing further education, students from Mao need to travel far off to Imphal or Kohima which was logistically and economically difficult.
Local community has been witnessing the differences brought by this institute in the lives of tribal students. Many students from this institute are securing excellent academic records.
ACI currently runs HSC (10+2, Science & Arts), B.Sc. and B.A. courses at existing inadequate infrastructure. College does not collect enough money through fees to meet their expenses. JVGCT therefore supports ACI for ensuring quality education to more than 350 students at this institute.
