This library has more than 500 texts and reference books are available in this library and are used by 350 students of ACI regularly. As per guidelines of Manipur University, we keep updating relevant books. JVGCT's In-TOUCH Health Science Center at Mao, (Senapati District) Manipur J. V. Gokal Charity Trust has been working with like minded organizations such as In-Touch and Collaborative Development International (CA, USA) in rendering health care services to the needy community in Mao area of Senapati district Manipur since 2012. JVGCT has joined hands with “Integrated Tribal Organization for Upliftment Communication and Health (In-TOUCH)” which is Non Government Organization working for community development in hilly region of Mao, Senapati District since 1992. The existing government healthcare infrastructure in Mao is neither adequate to cater to the healthcare needs nor easily accessible to the community residing in hilly and difficult terrain. Therefore, J. V. Gokal Charity Trust ’ and In-Touch decided to start a “Low Cost Medical Center” at Mao Gate, Manipur. Community Projects  Drinking Water Supply, Water Conservation and River Widening Activity at Beed, Maharashtra. JVGCT as an organisation have been actively involved in helping people in time of need and crisis. We are well aware of the severe drought that has engulfed a few districts of Maharashtra. We as a team look forward to lend a helping hand towards the people in need of water, a basic necessity for survival. JVGCT’ Project team member Mr. Anand Pawar, personally visited drought affected area twice to understand severity of the problem and had rounds of discussions with the families residing in few villages (Kaij Block, Beed District). It is difficult to comprehend that children and women travel 3-4 km daily for just a few pots of water. JVGCT supplied 15 tankers of water every day to few villages in Beed District, namely Warab Gaon, Lokhandi, Shahruk Wadi and Chincholi Mali. Educational Projects ACI’s “Jagjivan” Sports Academy, Mao, Manipur Supported by : - Shree Krishna Foundation - Radiant (International) Pvt. Ltd. - Heligo Charters Pvt. Ltd. - Yatish Trading Co. & Pvt. Ltd. There is an enormous sports talent in the North-Eastern Region, which needs to be nurtured. North-Eastern states have produced many sports icons. To nurture the sports talents of youth of Manipur and Nagaland, JVGCT in association with Asufu Christian Institute (ACI) has started "Jagjivan Sports Academy" which is located at Mao, District - Senapati. Smt. M. C. Mary Kom, renowned Olympic Boxing Champion has inaugurated Jagjivan Sports Academy on 28th April 2015. Youths & students have been using this facility and many more have evinced their interest in using this academy for making career in sports and also keeping oneself physically fit. 45 to 50 Students/Youths from surrounding villages are being trained in this academy.

Mobile Health Unit (MHU) at Talasari (Dist. Palghar) in Association with Larsen & Toubro Public Charitable Trust (LTPCT) This project launched on 23rd May 2017. Mr. Dolare (Sarpanch/Village Head - Dolarpda) dedicated this project to the community in presence of - Mr. Belhare (Managing Trustee - L & T Public Charitable Trust) - Mrs. Gayatri Oleti (Sr. DGM - L & T Public Charitable Trust) - Mr. Ram Deshpande (Secretary - L & T Public Charitable Trust) - Mr. Rahul Dhoom (Block Development Officer – Talasari Block) MHU manned with doctor, public health nurse, social worker and other support staff renders primary health care services in 25 villages around Talasari. Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) Project at Jambhulpada, Dist. Raigad in association with Mathura Foundation Head, Jambhulpada) dedicated this project to the community in presence of - Mrs. Leena Y. Deosthalee (Founder & Managing Trustee, Mathura Foundation) - Mr. Yeshwant M. Deosthalee (Founder & Trustee - Mathura Foundation) - Mr. Shirish Ghoge (Trustee - Mathura Foundation) - Mr. Shailesh Rajadhyaksh (Trustee - Mathura Foundation) MMU manned with doctor, community mobiliser, social worker and other support staffs render primary health care services to 22 villages in and around Jambhulpada (Sudhagad Block, Dist. Maternal & Child Health (MCH) Project at Talasari (Dist. Palghar, Maharashtra) in Association with Larsen & Toubro Public Charitable Trust (LTPCT) Malnutrition is commonly seen among tribal communities due to various reasons and practices. Combating malnutrition is one of the biggest challenges for government. With support from LTPCT we are trying to reach community for making difference. Project aims to cover following objectives: To Create awareness about Institutional & Safe Delivery. To Identify malnourished children and offer suitable treatment with local available resources. To Identify women with low haemoglobin and offer suitable treatment with local available resources. To Increase immunization of children less than 5 years of age & ANC cases. To improve nutritional status of Severely Acute Malnourished (SAM) and Moderately Acute Malnourished (MAM) children. To Sensitize the adolescence towards Family Life Education (FLE). Project was
